About the brand
What is Belt by Belt?
Belt by Belt is an online clothing and gear brand for people who train Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Slava Rybalka started it in 2026. The motto is "Better than yesterday".
Who runs Belt by Belt?
Slava Rybalka, who trains both arts. He started Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2017 and earned his BJJ brown belt from Cristiano Dantas at Gracie Barra Aventura. He then took up Judo to build a better top game, and on 3 October 2025 he received his Judo brown belt from Cedric Perroud at AP Training Center. Before jiu-jitsu he trained aikido and Krav Maga.
What does the name mean?
The belt is the one thing the Judo mat and the BJJ mat share. It marks where you are, it moves only when the work is done, and nobody can hand you the next one.
Why does the brand exist?
To support the people who keep training. Starting a martial art is the easy part. Staying in it, year after year, around work and family, is the hard part, and the designs are built around that: showing up, training partners, the slow climb through the belts.
Is Belt by Belt for Judo or for BJJ?
Both. The shop has separate Judo and BJJ sections, and some designs, such as Octopus Armbar and Hip Escape Specialist, are made for BJJ only.
Products
What does Belt by Belt sell?
Rash guards, T-shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts, mugs, stickers, embroidered patches, hats, gym bags and training journals. Prices run from $4.99 to $79.
Does Belt by Belt sell gis or belts?
No. We make the things you wear and use around training. If you are choosing your first gi, our Fuji vs Sanabul comparison covers two beginner gis side by side.
Do you have gifts for a specific belt rank?
Yes. There are gift collections for each BJJ belt, from white to black, and the Octopus Armbar design comes in blue, purple, brown and black versions to match the belt.
What designs will I not find here?
Skulls, weapons, cartoon animals in a gi, or borrowed Japanese characters that mean nothing to the person wearing them.
Orders, shipping and returns
How are the products made?
Most of our apparel and stickers are printed to order: the item is produced for you after you buy it. Every product page says whether an item is made to order or held in stock.
Where do you ship?
Checkout accepts addresses in 237 countries and regions. The shipping cost for your address is shown at checkout before you pay.
Can I return a made-to-order item?
Made-to-order items cannot be returned or exchanged for a change of mind or a different size. Each product page has a size chart, and if you are between sizes, email us before you order and we will help you pick.
Can I return a stocked item?
Yes, within 30 days of delivery, unused and in its original packaging. Email us with your order number first and we will send you the return address.
What if my item arrives damaged or misprinted?
Email us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and two photos: the whole item and a close-up of the fault. We will replace it or refund you in full, your choice. For made-to-order items you keep the faulty one.
Can I change or cancel an order?
Email us as soon as possible. A made-to-order item can be changed or cancelled until production starts. A stocked item can be cancelled any time before it ships.
Do you take club or team orders?
Yes. Club orders go through the contact page and reach Slava directly.
How do I contact Belt by Belt?
Email slava@beltbybelt.com or use the contact page. A person reads every message.
