BJJ Training Journal
A BJJ training journal keeps the details your professor showed you from disappearing before the next class. Jiu-jitsu has no single catalogue of techniques: every academy and every professor teaches its own versions, so the grip or the knee angle you learned on a Tuesday night lives only in your notes.
Both journals are printed to order:
- Belt by Belt Hardcover Journal: 150 lined pages and a matte laminated cover with the hand-inked belt mark.
- Softcover journal with inside prints: 5.75" × 8", 100 or 200 perforated lined pages, made for BJJ and judo notes, journaling and sketches.
Use it as a jiu-jitsu training log after every class, as a training diary or as a notebook for drawing positions. Slava keeps his notes in four columns: date, technique, details and the position the technique starts from. Sorted by position, the log shows the holes in your game. The full method is in How to Keep a BJJ Training Journal That You Actually Use.
